There are other companies but many of them are "custom." As for why there are not more, I believe in the near future you will be seeing more smokeless rifles coming out on the market. The reason they never gained real popularity all over is, inmany places they are still restricted. Some states still do not allow the use of smokeless powder. For that reason, they are a high end rifle. Although the rifles that are out there are excellent qualty rifles.
