For almost a decade, I've done the same thing as Kodiak as far as the green wool liners... Got used to them in the Army, and I still keep a few pair around for bowhunting. They keep me pretty warm down below freezing, and like others mentioned, I'll throw in some chemical hand warmers into my pockets below that.

Above 50, I just wear a pair of cotton jersey gloves from Predator. I've tried to talk Jeff at Gray Wolf Woolens into making and marketing some out of Wolfskin with extra-long rib knit cuffs on them... I'm still working on him.
