Default RE: Where is your middle ground

i had to choose the last option... we manage the deer on our proprty ourselves, we are going to be upping our standards a little next season and take more doe and increase the size limit for bucks... at the moment it is simply 8pts outside the ears, we're gonna stick with 8pts but move up to minimum spread of 2" outside outside each ear, average spreads should be minimum 4" wider and we'll be looking strictly for mature 5yr or better bucks... but we're gonna have to take about 25 doe per season at minimum and preferably more like 30-35, we are being overrun by doe near us mostly cuz of the guys nearby refusing to shoot antlerless deer... we have a deer a day limit and the local GW said he wouldn't cite anyone for taking 2 or more does per day... should be able to fill the freezer next year real good...
