In my opinion as long as you are using 3" shells it dosen't matter if your using #4,#5,or#6's it will kill a turkey. Also when calling in a turkey if you get the bird tostart commingto you if you just quit calling the bird is more likely to come in. But it dosen't always work, sometimes they won'tcome in at all.
