Default RE: What's the advantage of using a crossbow?

I couldn't shoot a long bow or recurve from there either Germ! Too long and tall of a bow, clear it out and a person could then. I don't let my buddies that shoot compounds clear my spots up in the stand when were putting stands up for bear hunting, they never clear enough away for me because there bows are much shorter then my recurve.
I shoot a CR337 37'' ATA With idler and cam I am over 40'' bow.

You're right, I hunted from a blind on Saturday, and being I was setup to shoot within 15 yds. A Traditional bow would have been way easier to kill a deer with. Notice I did not say shoot.

You bring up my point, differnet setups favor type of weapon we choose.
