There are quite a few mechanicals that need a certain amount of speed to work properly. You might take at look at the Rage 2 blade. There are a bunch of the celebrity bowhunters shooting these, and several of them are using bows in the low 50's. Seem to be working pretty well. I sure didn't have any problems with them at 61 lbs.
