Default RE: ez load vs. reg sabots

ORIGINAL: outdoorsmen

any accurcury differences noted between the two? I want to shoot the barnes in my triumph but i'm worried about being able to get the bullet down the barrel.
YES. Sabot makes a huge difference, you need snug, not loose, but not pound them down tight.
I intend to try all the following in my Savage after the season:

Barnes #45105 275g XPB BC of .141, usiing HPH12
Barnes Expander MZ 300g #45131 BC .207, using HPH12
Barnes Origonal 300g #457010 Spitzer SP BC .291, using MMP Orange
Barnes X-bullet 300g XFN 45832 BC .204, using MMP Orange
Barnes X-bullet 300g FB 45802 BC .235, using MMP Orange

I have the Barnes origonals already and the Flat Nose, which is the XFN 45832. I have heard of folks shooting a crushed rib sabot with a TMZ in their Savage rifles with a #8 washer in the bottom, because the TMZ is boat tailed and the washer helps keep the sabot tight to the side.BestWishes let us know how you do.
