The farther out you move the sight the smaller the sight pins appears to be, therefore the less of the target you will be covering. This will allow you to hold on a smaller area of the target and hopefully be more accurate.

You are right by moving your sight bar out, it will make you sight marks farther apart. By using physics this will actually give you more area between your major yardage marks thus allowing you more micro clicks and hopefully dial in your yardages even closer.

But I like most others, usually can' t hold my bow quite that steady for it to make a whole lot of difference. But with more practice now that weather is warming, I hope to be able to put the 9in. sight bar to better use.
