RE: My feet freeze
Iused the Arctic Shield boot covers for the last 2 seasons. It might sound strange but I'm stillnot sure what to think of them. When my feet are warm I tell myself that it's the boot covers doing it's job. Sometimes my feet get cold and think they aren't working. Basically I feel that they do work because my feet used to get coldalmost everytime I went hunting. Notnearly asmuch anymore.Last SaturdayI walked to my stand (At least 6" of snow in NY) and I guess I forgot to kick off the snow/freezing waterfrom the bottom of my Lacrosse rubber boots and put on the Arctic shields. My feet were frozen in a couple of hours. I have to say it was extremely cold that day. When I took off the boot covers There was ice inside them.No wonder my feet were freezing. I'm guessingthey must have to be dry to be effective.
I also use their hand muff which I like, but I have nothing to compare it to.
