After I got shot with a .30-06 one bow season I had the privlege of using a x-bow late season......it sucked. It was heavy, loud, and was a PITA to carry in the woods. I hunted 2 evenings with it and decided to hang it up and wait until the following season to hunt with a compound again.

As far as legality....I have no opinion......except that I'm happy as hell that my 21 yr old nephew can use one, because he's handicapped.
