Unless he's pressured......I don't know why he wouldn't move in the daylight.

Bingo.....where 95% of people hunt there is some kind of human activity. Deer pattern themselves around this activity.......People moving during the daylight=deer moving at night.

Now, go to an unpressured area with very little human activity. They most definately are NOT nocturnal. How often do you look at the game tables on your GPS, in a magazine, or wherever. I can tell you that in an unpressured natural setting these tables are spot on 95% of the time.

This fall in Canada I would be sitting seeing nothing....look at the GPS and the "Best Times" for game movement......almost within 5 minutes of that time I would see deer. The best times that areduring daylight hours last for 2 hours.....and those 2 hours are magical.

So, why are deer more nocturnal where we hunt......we make them that way.
