With the end of the season aproaching here in illinois I have been thinking of making a bunk style feeder with a roofplaced over the top at hopefully the right height to knock off loose antlers. So basically when the deer are reaching their nose in, it would push backwards on the antlers. Not only could I get pics on my trail camera but get the sheds also. Anyone ever try this? Think it could work?
It is ILLEGAL to feed deer in ILLINOIS. They don't want to congregate them together, for fear of spreading CWD and other transferable diseases. That goes for minerals and actually feeding them.
