That's right, wabbits will be squatting in the thickest briars, alders, etc. you can find. We went to upper WI last year for a snowshoe hare hunt and will be back again in Feb./March. We had a blast the runs were phenomenal to say the least! I'd recommend using dogs though, I don't jumpshoot, if we jump one, we call the dogs over and let them do the rest.
