When I got my 700 PSS the trigger from the factory was almost 7 lbs. You will need to have it lightened up. THe Rem 700 trigger is amongst the best factory triggers available. Some might argue the best. At any rate, it is easily adjustable. You can lighten it up, and have any creep taken out. it can be adjusted to break CRISP at whatever pull you choose.
