I have a NEF .223 in synthetic light weight. Weighs under 6 pounds, I use it for coyote hunting. I get 1" groups at 100 yards with it right out of the box.
I shoot the 45gr bulk Winchesters that come in packs of 40ea.
Paid $192. for the rifle. You can get them rebarreled at the factory for other calibers for $80. Then you have an interchangeable caliber rifle, and all you have to do is take out one screw.
I will definitely buy another one. I am also teaching my 8 year old son to shoot with it. He seems to be able to handle it pretty easily and enjoys shooting it.
