Default RE: How important is doe hunting

The lions, yotes, wolves and car bumpersmanage the does in our Mountain habitats. So there is no need to kill them. We are finally starting to see some extra doe tags implemented in areas of growing populations.

I personally would love to hunt for a doe if the herd needed thinning and we were offered a seperate tag. That way it stands right now in my whitetail areas, its two "deer" tags.

I will shoot a doe like this year on the last day of Archery season to fill my tag. There are enough around, not an over abundance but enoughto take one.
