Default RE: How important is doe hunting

I shoot doe's and enjoy hunting them.I wont take them out of area's if I feel like those area's are not holding many deer.I prefer to take them in the archery season with management tags if I have them. This archery season I was attempting to teach and introduce one of my nephews to archery hunting and I would not shoot a doe while on stand while he was with me.I had numerous opportunities to take doe's that I conceded to him.It never came together for him but archery hunting has gotten a hold of him and to me that makes it all worth while.
I feel that taking doe's is exceptional practice with archery equipment.Nerves, shot placement, trailing.I really believe with the bow especially a hunter to get a good number of kills under their belt to get really proficient.
