RE: What time do you get in your treestand?
D--alot of it depends on wether you are hunting pressured or lightly pressured deer. Obviously if the deer you are hunting are pressured, you want to arrive to your stand earlier. Also, you have to think of where you are hunting....are you hunting off a crop field trying to catch them moving back to their beds? Are you hunting hundreds of yards away from the food source? Are you hunting in the morning? afternoon?
If you are hunting pressured deer, especially with a bow, I would say getting on stand and being silent for nearly 1 hour before shooting light. Now if they are not pressured, just 1/2 hour before shooting light would be ok. Alot of the times in late season the deer move 30-60 minutes before sundown so you probably should get in there no less than 3 hours before sundown.
