From your name, I would assume you had looked at the Mossberg 817 .17 HMR it can be had new at Dick's for under 150! It has a 5 round clip and is a bolt action. The only problem I have had with mine is when I tried hollow points in it they caught on the front of the Mag and didn't feed well. Went to polymer tips and it rocks all day long. A nice $150 7.62 mm SKS will tear them up also. Bit more penetration though.
