I have a similiar deal. All the crops are pretty much gone andthe little bitthat is left (and the grass growing in the fields) get hit really late in the eveningor at night. I have found them browsing on grasses growing from the dry ditches and I noticed they really like branch tips, the little bulbs on the tips of the lower smaller trees. I find an areanear the fields and ditchesthat is thick with low level trees/browse and post up around there. I honestly see a lot fewer deer this way but usually still see some and hopefully next week when I get some time off I might be able to get on one or two.
