Do you all used vacumn sealed machines/bags or does anyone use freezer paper?
I use a vacuum sealer for a lot of things, deer meat included. I am also starting to can things and would highly suggest that as a method for preserving. Canning stuff will last longer than freezing and you don't have to worry about the freezer dying (has happened to us) although I still will be using a freezer for large cuts of meat, bread, etc.
