RE: New Law Needed
A few years ago, after about an hour drive and another hour to get to my stand site and set-up, a group of bird hunters came by my stand and I heard one of them tell the others "there is a bowhunter". They all looked in my direction, and walked in theother direction. Then all of a sudden shots started to ring out and the trees around me were showered with pellets.
I will never really know if they were intentionally trying to shoot me, but I don't see how it could have been an accident. That is the kind of crap you put up with when you hunt public land. My daughter is now at the age whereshe wants to huntwith me, but its things like this that make me feel taking her to hunt with me on public land is not such a good idea!!
