How come it's only "sad" or a "shame"when they are notkilled by a hunter??
That's simple, what do we take away from a successful hunt? The memory, the story, the meat, and the trophy.
A buck like that gets hit by a car, what is the memory? The cost of the repair. What is the story? I drove down Whatever Street and this deer ran out in front of me andcrushedmy car. The meat? Most people don't eat roadkill, even if it is fresh. The trophy? I don't know aboutyou, but I'm not paying $400 to mount a deer taken out by my bumper.
All those things are missed out on, that is a shame.
