Default RE: Process your own deer....

We always process our own. Takes a couple hours to butcher, clean and package. Mostly steaks, couple roast(jerky), However I do take some of the scrap meat to the locker for BBQ sticks/salami. My father-inlaw bought a smoker and is starting to make his own, may start going that route.

My neighbor across the creek has been butchering for a long time. Packages it and gets rid of the carcass for around 65 bucks. He stays pretty busy, but I still prefer to do it myself.

We always throw some on the grill while were working on it anyway [8D]
