Doesn't it really boil down to this.....

When you're trying to associate with "like-minded" people.....and you're a baseball fan....don't you go into the forums that gather people who probably root for the team you root for? Say I'm....I don't know....a RED SOX fan.

I LOVE the game and respect it, immensely. But I don't wanna have to apologize for being a RED SOX fan when I'm in the RED SOX forum. I might even take a "lighthearted" jab at a yankees fan while I'm there.

Doesn't mean I don't respect that they're a great team. Just means I have no interest in watching their games or discussing their trades, injuries, successes or failures. I'd rather be flossing cat's teeth.

I wouldn't go into their forum with that attitude. I never have, here. I poke lighthearted fun at gun hunting....but have NO (nor mean ANY) disrespect to how they operate. MY SON IS A GUN HUNTER. I HAVE BEEN.
