Default RE: T/C encore accuracy

Cajun - Your friend shouldn't generalize. I have a few Ruger #1s that are good to excellent shooters. My most recent purchase was the #1 Tropical Rifle in .405 Win. This rifle with this old chambering will shoot the Hornady 300 gr SPs into clusters. I really want to take this rifle on a bear hunt and see how it performs.
Bronko, shooting a falling block single shot and shooting a break open single shot are two completely different things.

I agree that Ruger 1s are fine shooters. I've had experience with Ruger 1 in several calibers. But this cannot be compared to the T/C Encore because they are two completely different things.
