The .300 win. mags have made the 1000 yard club several times, sp they can and will work great for a long range rifle. If you are wanting to spend your money on a long range gun with 110% performance, than you will want to get a CZ 6.5x284. If you want to get a rifle that youll not have to spend too much than a .308 or .25/06 is the way to go.If you can handle the recoil, You could aso go with a .338 federal or win. mag or bigger.I would rather personally have a 25/06or the .308 over the .338but thats up to you.
