So, if you had to make a choice (if you had to LOL) on a scope brand with a max purchase price of $150, who would you chose? I would like to mount something on my new Ruger Frontier for this weekend but not in position to purchase a $300 scope before Xmas. My plans are to purchase something that will get me thru the weekend then after the 1st of the yr, replace it with a higher quality. The "cheap" scope wont be a waist as i will move it over to my AK which is just a fun toy. I have looked at NcStars, Bushnell, Tasco etc etc...... Who has the best rep for cheaper scopes? I wasnt planning on spending big $$ for the AK anyways so in the long run it could be a win win for me
Oh, i will be making a "scout scope" / longer eye relief choice, say 9" relief....not sure how many manufactures offer this feature.
