I like the T/C tang sight. It is close to your eye and pretty well out of the way and protected by the hammer being close to it. For hunting I just use it as a "ghost ring" with the apeture removed.
The hardest part of using a "peep" is learning to forget about the "peep" and just look at the front sight. If you try to center the front sight in the hole you will have accuracy problems. If you look at the front sight and the target things go much better.
