I also use the same setup with no problems at all. It really helps to have the little tool kit you can buy with them. Or use a deepwell socket and punch. That would work. Can't remember the exact size needed. I really like the VariFlame sytem...works great for me. Something must not be right. You shouldn't be getting any misfires. Prolly need to seat the primers better. You gotta give em' a couple good taps to seat themgright. goodluck....
