I've removed the breech plug and retreived the powder. I was able to get out the bullet. However, the sabot is still lodged in the barrel. I've screwed the ram rod intothe sabot, but I can't budge it. Should I push or pull the sabot out of the barrel? Is there an easier way to dislodge this sabot?
Since this barrel has a removed breech plug.... I am guessing it is a inline. You have the powder out, and somehow the bullet out.. but the sabot is still in there? Put the ramrod in from the breech end (here is where you find how wonderful the extra long range rod comes in). And just push that sabot up through the bore out the muzzle. It might be tight, but it will move. If you have no long range rod, go to the lumber yard and get a 3 foot wood dowel. That will push the stuff out the barrel for you as well..
