RE: 7mm-08 Model 7
I had been eyeing a Remington model 7 synthetic s/s in a 260 Rem. for some time. It was on special because they had been discontinued on this particular model. I thought it would make for an excellent rifle for long days in the bush being that it was light and compact. The rifle has been sold since my last visit at the sporting good store. Maybe I should have picked it up.
I do have a rifle chambered in the 7 mm-08. I find this cartridge to be excellent for deer hunting. What’s not to like about the 7 mm-08, short action, low recoil and a treat to shoot at the range...
