I shot these two on the second day of opening shotgun here in Iowa along the Mississippi. The weather was definately unfavorable this year and I was lucky to get these. I most likely wouldn't have shot either of these, but when they're running by at what seems to be 100 mph, they looked like B&C bucks...lol Where we hunt we usually don't shoot anything unless it can be hung on the wall, which the "should be" 12, possible could be, but he's missing 4 tines from fighting and what not. As for the smaller "should be" 10, it has a paddle on one side, and I would have definately let him grow another year if I had more time to think...that'sone main reason I don't like drive hunting, I personally like the sitting in the stand using scents and calls and that good stuff during early and late muzzleloader...once I'm out of college I plan to get into bow hunting...that's where the real monsters are harvested!
