i hear a lot of people talking about the antlers shrinking when you get it mounted.how far do they shrink?is it a noticable difference?do they put something on the antlers to make them darker cause i see some mounts with some sort of brown coating on them. d
The spread is all that really shrinks and you can't even tell maybe a 1/4 to 3/8 inch.By the time the deer is mounted thedrying/shrinking is done, about 60 days. You can have them coat the antlers but I would highly recomend not doing it, IMO it looks terrible. I don't see any on this post that have been coated though. WCL
