Our 4 buck zone begins well east of the BR range. I'm in the piedmont (near winston-salem) and it would take me a good hour to get to the BR Parkway. NC is defined by zones. I'm in a 2 buck zone....but have friends in the 4 buck zone. I took a 3rd buck in that zone, last season.....the only day I hunted, there (during gun season, too).

I don't know how far you have to go east to run dogs....but it's NOWHERE around here.
