My 1st this year was a nanny and i hunt fer freezer meat. The sun had not risin as i eased acrossed the field & i saw a deer white inside ears facing me. I dropped down and belly crawled about 30 yds. eased my head up it was looking. I moved my head sideways couple times tolling and it walked towards me & stopped so i did that again & it walked towards me somemore. Now i could see thru scope that it was a Doe and i sat up and rested my elbow into right knee and shot. When smoke cleared no nanny, so i walked over and found a stick and stuck it in ground to mark the spot. Reloaded and continued to hunt for another hour. I returned and eased up the gully the nanny had run down into. Found her 25 yds. from field edge taking her final dirt nap. Field dressed 100 lbs. I used a Blk. Dia. XR Express 50 cal. with gn. sabot and .429 Speer 240gr JSP. Went thru both front shoulders using 70 grs. of Pyro P. distance of shot about 50/55 yds.
