No guesses....aged by jawbone or by other means, professionally.
Reason I bring this up.....here's some of the answers I[m seeing on the Mathews board....and they're pretty remarkable.
What was the oldest deer that you shot that was actually aged by somebody that knows what they are doing? ( not just a rough guess) The oldest one that i shot was 10 1/2. kind of scrubby looking dark chocolate rack.
8 1/2 year old doe. Her teeth were worn down to the bone/gumline
9 1/2 12 pt. taken in Mexico this past Jan.
7 1/2 year old 10 point
