They aren' t fancy, but they sure can shoot, a cousin of mine has a heavy barreled .22-250, in the 12FV as well if I recall correctly, he' s had a little more than just bedding and lapping done, not much though, said he hasn' t paid more for work than the rifle yet, and it' ll .25MOA out to 450yrds, it' s a heck of a shooter. I love savages, although I' ll probably never own another one, because I' m such an avid Ruger fan, but there isn' t a better valued gun available.
