Default finger bows?

dad says he would like to get back into bow hunting and buy a bow this spring...

he has an old Bear "bruin", but needs new strings and cables, and is just out of date..painted crude brass pins, steel stabilizer, some crazy rest that looks like a piece of wire...just an old bow...by the time he updated it, he would still be with an old, slow bow...

i know i know, speed aint everything...but id be surprised if it broke 200fps..

he says hed like to stay with fingers because thats what he knows, but before we shop, im going to let him shoot mine with my release...we aughta have the same draw legnth or close enough for him to get a feel of it...he loves watching me shoot, but ive offered and he always said "nah thats alright" i think maybe because hes afraid to miss or just afraid of "the bow and technology" i dont know...

but figured id ask here, and see what options are out there for "finger bows" just to start getting an idea of where to start if indeed he wants to stick with fingers...

any particular bows come to mind??

what ATA makes a good finger bow??

what about a rest for finger shooting??

thanx alot...would be awesome to see dad hunt more again...if i land a good job next summer, maybe i'll just give him the Highlander and release and tell him to kill me a biggun...gives me a good reason to buy me a new toy though, me and the highlander have that whole "first love, first kill" thing goin on
