I have this light and it is awesome for finding bright eyes and walking to my stand. My friend has an old streamlight and both of us agree that mine appears better for walking and finding bright eyes. Now when it comes to finding blood both of ours are marginal at best. He carries a small flashlight similiar to the old mag-light that appears to throw out a blueish light that is really good in picking up blood. I wish i could find a head lamp that had my greenlight and this "blueish" type light. i will probably end up buying the small flashlight that he carries for blood trails. It appears that his small flashlight isa tactical flashlight as nchawkeye says so that is what i will purchase for next hunting season.
