I have been icognito for some time. Hunting season, you know how it is. I have one more tag to fill on late season turkies. I have been rather blessed this year with 2 entries for the book (both proghorns) and have been very lucky on many other species across 3 states.

I still had a deer tag this morning, which is the last day of late season archery. The weather has not been very nice to us which is a key factor in hunting migrating mulies. We got a bunch of snow up high the last couple of days and I played hooky on the last day. After hunting for 14 days of the season up 40% grades and more, I finally connected with this buck only hours before the close of the season. Today the deer were everywhere!!!
