I cannot hold my tongue to such an ignorant statement! I have killed 25+ deer with bow and drilled EVERY single one of them through the vitals for easy recoveries (usually 40-100 yards before they drop).I have NEVER wounded a deer in my 12 years of bowhunting.Your statement would imply that Ishould have wounded 50-75 deer by now. Are you nuts???

I guess they forgot to mention that you bowhunters seem to be a mighty sensitive lot also!! You may have dropped all your deer, but I guarantee you a heck of a lot of bowhunters haven't. The same can be said about gun hunters also, but please don't tell me that the bow is some sort of death ray, cause it surely isn't! A heck of a lot more can go wrong when even an expert bowhunters lets the arrow fly compared to the expert rifleman. You obviously have been lucky so far.
I am not sensitive. I just don't like it when people make ingorant statements on subjects that they know little about. I have done more than my share ofBOTH gun and bow hunting so I speak from EXPERIENCE on both issues. Yes if I shoot at enough deer in my life with bow i will probably loose one sooner or later just as it can happen with ANY weapon. Wounded deer are due to HUMAN error...not the equipment. So you think I am lucky huh? I guess it has NOTHING to do with the thousands of practice shots I have taken over the years with my bow? [&:]
