Congratulations on a nice buck. It's funny but why did you and your girlfriend insist on riding on the four wheeler when it was already loaded with a big deer? You are obviously young and able. I sometimes think hunters have forgotten how to use their feet since I see them using 4 wheelers to get them to stands which in many cases are no more than a couple of hundred yards away from a road. You will probably have a few extra birthdays and a few more hunting years by doing some walking instead of always riding one of those things.
Well, this wasnt just a couple hundred yards from the house. more like two or three miles. Im pretty sure that most people would use the four wheeler even with a deer on it instead of trailing behind for a couple miles.

I did walk from my house to get to the location where I shot the deer. I set my girfriend up after about a mile and a half of walking and then I just kept still hunting untill I came across this deer and shot it. Called my dad and he came on the four wheeler to help get it out then on our way I we stopped and got my girlfriend. I promise you that I do more walking than anyone you have ever met.
