Don't you think the "too far back" hit is more common than the "too far forward" hit for most bowhunters?
I see your point, just for me personally, my "bad shot" was actually to far forward, but luckily it bustedthe leg bone, and went on through. Again, this was with a Spitfire, so mech will bust through, but this was just an average size doe. Not sure it would have worked on a mature buck.
