Hotburn76, yes Bill Troulbridge did kill an elephant with the Exomax, a stock one at that, but he used heavy arrows and hunting heads to give a higher KE. The same could be done with any bow, the higher KE can be gained by using a heavier arrow/head combo. This will slow your arrow down, but will give you greater KE.

There was another member from the Excalibur forum, from the praires that hunted Prairie Buffallo with an Exomag. I am not sure if his model was the 185 or the 200 lb model, but he was successful with no problem.
