I am not huge Leupold fan, simply because of the price, but replacing one with a Bushnell trophy just somehow seems wrong.

You do know that Leupold would have probably replaced that scope at no charge to you. They are pricey but they have the best darn service in the industry.

I had a trophy on my 12 ga ultra slugger and it crapped out on me. Got to where it wouldn't hold parallax from shot to shot. I wasn't really distraught over it considering it was a $100 scope. But had I spent an extra 50 or so on a better scope it probably would not have happened.
