I got my pup at seven weeks. From what I read, some think its just right; others think its too soon. Supposely, you want to take them when they are old enough to be weaned (taken away) from the mother, yet, not enough to have established a pecking order within the litter. Hence, it would be the individual litter (since littermates develop roughly the same.)
