RE: Defending Mathews....
I have been a Mathews shooter for nearly 10 years, and have heard a lot of complaining about the grips. If you don't like the grip, just change it, its not that hard. I personally like the grip, but I have big hands, so its never been an issue for me.
Also, I am not defensive about Mathews as someone put it! There are a lot of fine bows out there, but the bottom line is that most (if not all) have in some way patterned their bows after the innovations that Mathews introduced.
To say that Mathews dropped the ball this year simply because they didn't come out with something that ROCKED the industry tells you that people STILL look to them as the INDUSTRY LEADER,so I would not say they've been passed up by other companies! Honestly, has anyoneintroduced something that was innovative in a waythatmade a SIGNIFICANT improvement to compound bows in the last decade other thanMathews?
I happen to thing Bowtech, PSE, etc, are very good bows, but there is no doubt they are all better because of Mathews!
