It was January of last year 2 weeks left in the Alabama gunner, I sat on the ground as I had early in the season to bag a 135#doe, this time it was 7 am when I got to my tree to sit, 20 minutes later a doe runs by, 10 minutes a big 8 pt. goes down same spot the doe I had shot did,, fast forward 7 days........ same spot, base of the oak tree 2 does come by,, followed by another 8 pt not quite as big as # 1 but down. 2 8pts in 7 days is that luck from the ground or what!!!!
