RE: 30-06 varget load help
when I finaly got to the range to test the loads I had 3 differnt loads imr 4064, varget, and winchester factory all with 150 gr, the handloads where done by a friend showing me how it was done. after that I bought a lee classic handloader (bang with the hammer). I don't rememberhow many grs he told me and I lost the data sheets for them in a move. I fired the winchester not bad, imr 4064 lighter recoil little more noise, then I fired the varget, about knocked me off the bench. if I remembered right it was only one round of the varget that did that, the very last one and had problems chambering the round, the bolt did not want to cycle it. took 2 or 3 trys.
right now it does not matter my 30 - 06 is not in use, I gotta work on the stock it is warped. and I don't have the time right now to do it. between 2 jobs and hunting. I get so tired, all I want to is set down and do nothing.
